Jennifer Lopez recently turned 50 in July, and we can confirm that that star has honestly never looked better. I mean, in 2019 alone, J.Lo has launched her It's My Party 2019 tour, gotten engaged to Alex Rodriguez, and starred in Hustlers, which premieres in September.
Lopez has been taking to Instagram to show just how well 50 is treating her, and she's definitely thriving in this milestone year. In between performing around the world, Lopez has been enjoying some well-deserved time off with her family.
This past weekend, the actress and singer trekked to Israel with her fiancé and their children to explore the Middle East, which included camel rides, trips to the beach, praying at Western Wall, and sightseeing. Lopez shared a bikini picture as she relaxes by the Mediterranean Sea, which prompted Arod to comment "Can't stop looking at this picture 🔥 ⚾️." RT, Arod.
In the stunning photo, J.Lo is posing knee-deep in the Mediterranean in a teal string bikini and a Guess cropped sweatshirt. She's wearing chunky silver hoops and her QuayxJLO Get Right sunglasses. The star looks relaxed, happy, and absolutely ripped. I mean, have you seen her abs?!
It's no secret that Lopez has a toned figure, and she definitely works hard for it. First of all, she never skips a workout, even on her birthday or after a late performance. "Very rarely will I skip my workout," she told Us Weekly. "Sometimes, I work too late the night before, and I'm like, 'Ugh, I can't do this.' But I tell myself, 'Just do it. It's only an hour.' It's just talking yourself off the ledge of being a lazy bum."
Aside from the dancing she does on stage, J.Lo gets her sweat on with workouts including kickboxing, circuit training, lunges, burpees, and ab workouts. She also works with personal trainers like Tracey Anderson and David Kirsch to help her stay toned. Kirsch told People that, although Lopez is "genetically blessed," she also has "crazy discipline" and tons of energy at the gym.
Lopez also hits the gym with Arod, who is a former professional baseball player. Lopez previously shared a full-body workout the two performed at the Dallas Cowboys training facility in Texas, and it was no joke.
The fit couple went through a variety of strength training exercises with barbells, including bench presses and bicep curls. They also used cable machines to strengthen their back muscles. The two toned up their cores using weighted plates, and then got their cardio in with the stair master, sled pushes, and battle ropes. Ouch.
Lopez keeps it clean in the kitchen, too. Even while on the road, J.Lo maintains a healthy diet. "Most restaurants offer healthy, low-calorie meals so I watch for things on the menu that fit my lifestyle," she told told Hello!. "I'll have a salad or some fish with veggies. And I make sure I drink lots of water throughout the meal." She has also cut alcohol and caffeine from her diet, flooding her body with water instead.
So yes, even on tour while Lopez is busy traveling, prepping for shows, and performing for thousands, you can guarantee that she's getting her workouts in and keeping her diet clean. We look forward to more J.Lo content as she continues her It's My Party 2019 tour through Russia, Turkey, and Egypt.
